Well, they've gone! Six years of work, and a happy new owner. On the same trip to London I bought a pair of Quad 2805s, and guess what? One of them is faulty! Grrr. But I think (and hope) it's an easy fix, a loose dust cover membrane.
These are the first pair of proper (not little cheapo) speakers I have ever bought, in nearly 50 years!

With a little work, I can re-use the isolation springs under these. Once they are fixed!

Yes it wouldn't pass the Malteser test. But it's an easy fix - the black knob on that red panel behind the speaker is for adjusting tilt

Two things wrong; one is that your Gravesen speakers weren't 'cheap'....in fact, certainly better than many other/pricey speakers.
The other? You have a partner who actually LIKES Quads!
Rumour has it that the only way to get a wife to grudgingly like Quads was to blindfold her first, let her listen to her favourite tunes on them, THEN remove the blindfold! (-:
Hope the hassles go away soon!

But I didn't buy the Gravesens; I built them. Like very other pair of main speakers since 1971.
