Shame there's no thread to tell us what you think! I'd be interested to hear. Perhaps you should start your own page in the gallery forum (if you haven't already) then it is quite clear that it's your own opinion and not open for discussion..

P.S. Are the cables shielded at all or just the two concentricly, counter-spiraled conductor paths?

Yeah I know. It's annoying when bickering takes over a thread and forces it to close. Yeah, I'll add my thoughts to my gallery page.

Only if it's a full-blown review, otherwise all cable discussion should go into The Artist's Palette.

However, that said, there's nothing wrong with Michael adding a few thoughts about the Slics on his Gallery thread.

I appreciate the young man bit! Thanks. I guess you if you know.. do you know?

I'm not sure if shielding is always a benefit or not but has been on my mind recently regarding Oyaide cables etc .. just got some old Deltec Black Slink ICs with the shield as a seperate earth, wasn't sure if I heard a bit more of a freshness to the sound or if it was a one-way observation via auditory memory from the night before, will have to try again.

The SLIC is shielded, personally I have done listening tests with and without and a couple of my testers have and it works, well the type of shielding I use does.

I also sent out 2 identical cables with oyaide 510 cable both had the same plugs on, one was with shielding one without

The shielded one sounded marginally better.
