Oooo and that would make my Audio Note Oto, with a £1,200 value (used) sound like a £3,600 (used!) amp.... that should sound pretty nice then...

So this cable is like an upscaling dvd player??

But how does this work, when according to the MCRU website,

'MCRU are the exclusive dealer for an interconnect that can only be described as the nearest thing to having no cable in your system.'

Most confusing. Specifications are unsurprisingly not forthcoming.

Frank can you give me some idea what other interconnects you tried this SLIC Eclipse against?

    Thanks so much
Virtual Dynamics Nite 2 - The SLIC has a much firmer bass and sweeter treble
Nordost Frey - Not too hard to see off really, as the bass isn't the Frey's strong point anyway
A 4 x 9's silver litz cable made by me and a Krystal Kables Sterling 2
A couple of pure OFC copper interconnects of indeterminate parentage

simple mathematics, applied to overly enthusiastic sales patter - no need to be rude old chap

(By the way my understanding of the English language leads me expect a capital for "English")

    Frank...knows cables.

I've known him to go against popularity (talking back in the day late Hifichoice/early Wigwam days..) back when doing so wasn't so trendy as it is nowadays...so I'm convinced there's no agenda here.
In my experience He says what he thinks, fashionable or not.
Those are the kind of guys you listen to.

Not heard the cable and not advocating it either, just my take on the the guys opinion.
