In the spirit of sharing, which is so evident on this forum, I thought I'd post a couple of pictures of my current set-up. The piles of CDs in front of the rack are a pretty common feature. I have a huge collection and the ones I'm currently listening to most always end up in piles!
All the electronics. The Exposure amp is just gorgeous. Not an expensive amp, but very simple with a good quality volume control and a well specified transformer. Sounds a lot like a Creek 4330R I used to have and regretted parting with, though the Creek has an extra dose of clarity and openess.
One of the Dyns. I've been through loads of speakers including B&W 685s, KEF Q300s, Monitor Audios, Q Acoustics, Wharfedales, Missions, Quads.... These are by far the nicest I've had in terms of the sound they deliver. Very balanced, with superb integration between the drive units and not a hint of boom. They seem to work best about 50cm from the rear wall, as suggested in Dynaudio's excellent manual.
I'll keep this up-to-date with any developments. Thanks for looking.
