    Oh don’t get me wrong – it’s a wonderful example of a refurbished 301, which with the superb black re-spray makes it quite unique. My comment was that with still five days to go, the bidding had reached over £1,000; which goes to show just how much sought after these decks are. Makes me wonder if I should have bought one for £25 when I had the opportunity!

    Would such money buy you a new modern deck of comparable performance? I doubt it.
