yes i saw them on phone.. were a bit dark, but was awaiting the copperYeah defo.... Always interesting seeing that, and you've had some nice stuff.
Problem for me is that I'm not a box-swapper, so even though I've been in this game for nearly 40 years, I could still count the amounts of full systems I've had on both hands!I've used and heard tons of kit in that time though, in terms of assessing it, but when something makes it into my system it tends to stay there as it's been *very* carefully chosen...
My current system, for example [have you see the pics I posted yesterday here in the Gallery?] has remained virtually unchanged for 10 years - certainly in terms of main components.I just hate making mistakes or bad choices (although inevitably that has occasionally happened), so minimise the likelihood of that as far as possible, along with any subsequent regrets!

My first speakers used a Wharfedale RS8 DD driver in a Wharefedale designed distributed port cabinet (volume, from memory 8" x 10" x 24"). Passed them on to my father when they were replaced with Quad 57s.
(My father got all of my 'starter' gear: Garrard SP25/II, Audio Technica AT66, etc.
