You should try your big Sony amp with them, Grant. I've got half a dozen power amps and prefer the most powerful one.even though the speakers are very sensitive.

Tbh they need so little that a 6watt amp couldnt go past 10 oclock martin... That little valve job of yours is all they need to go very loud.




Well, today ive knocked up a couple of frames for covers, seeing as the weather was good and i could safely drag all the gear out of shed.

Should suffice although id have preferred them longer. They are 60x32cm, but could have been doing with another couple of inches in length.. Alas the bit of wood i had wasnt big enough. Still they will do for now anyways. Still nervous when anyone comes in house

Oh..not sure about that cloth colour Grant...
Given the rest of your system I'd be going for black, a less pink colour to compliment the stain on the wood or even a cream to match your walls.
Sorry to be a bit but theres nothing else in your room that really compliments that colour...

Fancied something different, and it will look less when on tbh. Natural Scottish colours i do like.... But if its not gonna work a set of blacks can easily be made for Sunday best

The colour certainly suits Grant but you say its thick, isn't that likely to restrict treble that is already quite limited?
Back in the day I used an old t-shirt to re cover some grilles cheap and plain but I guess you could go crazy and use a couple of your Bay City Rollers ones.

Supposed to be 100% transparent Andrew. Ive steam ironed it under a cotton cloth to remove any big creases. Looks ok but only once on will i know. They light up a bit when under heavy lights like a flash but no so much in normal light. Im awaiting the fasteners so cant go ahead til they arrive really.
