Duncan made them for his 1/4 wave experiment with his tannoy dc,s... Didnt work but with as you say a bit of a change could be bang on for those teles. Give me 6 ohms and 16 watts and as sensitivity is 100 on a single driver they will still be in mid 90's

I think you'll find the sensitivity of the Telefunkens will remain about the same. In theory having them in series will drop output by 3db, but that does not take into account the doubling of cone area.
