    I always have about 3 books on the go at any one time...

    Currently these are -

    3 men in a boat. A favourite of mine and now about it's 5th reading.
    History of Jazz - Ted Gioia.
    Miles Davis biography. Last few pages...
    In - Tweaked Lenco GL75, Linn Ittok, Ortofon Cadenza Black
    Through - Croft Micro 25 RS LS, power R monoblocks, RIAA R. Ortofon ST-80 SE SUT.
    Along - Tellurium Q Ultra Black cables
    Out - Harbeth SHL5 Plus XD's

    I recall reading most of Cooper's books (many years ago). I only keep one sci-fi book to read occasionally these days, 'Fade-Out' by Patrick Tilley. A stunning tale! (I think I've got about three copies somewhere. Same for 'The Diceman' by Luke Reinhart, an all time favourite but not sci-fi. So much fun though)

    I've seen Ben Bova's books, but not read any. On the strength of your recommendation I've just ordered a copy off eBay to see what it's like.
