Yeah, me too. There's something about blue/cream that just works.

I think it looks incredible. A real Porsche look but in a sensible layout, with room for the real world.

Great video, thanks Ali. Mesmerising car - I love the way it runs on electric from the get go and then wakes up the petrol engine when needed. Very clever.

Yes, it occurred to me given your budget, leasing could be a good option.

It could be actually. Depends on the mileage of course, although I do prefer to buy a car cash rather than 'borrow' it for a fee.

    Which model do you have?

with modern cars, its not such a bad idea to lease i think. you get a new moter regular and no hassle. no huge depreciation either.
depends tho on the cost i suppose

I have a BMW 535d. Great compromise between power and fuel economy.

Yes, but at the end of it one is left with no car and no money, whereas with a used car purchase there's always a good chunk of cash in it and a car if one doesn't want to change. Plus the first owner has taken the hit on depreciation.

Leasing would be great if the company was paying, but I'm paying so ownership and mileage claim is more tax efficient.

Nice. I had a BMW 740i V8 many moons ago. Bit of a nightmare if I'm honest, but I'm sure things have improved a bit.

    How do you find it?

It's a great car. 313 hp and 630nm yet returns 36-38 mpg. Only issue I've had so far was a faulty seat belt pretensioner, I found a new one on ebay for £80 and replaced it myself- I'm fairly handy with the spanners so do most work myself.

Not too bad given BMW want £450 for the part.

Other than that it's been faultless, unusual for a BMW I know lol. Would love a V8 but there are well documented issues with them.
