The woman selling it was kind enough to drive it the seven miles to my place, saved me a lot of messing about. Now I'll have to ring the insurance company to add it to my policy and then tax it.

Got two now, this is my seventh. Might give the latest to my daughter. She has daft ideas, was on about getting a Lexus from a friend, but has barely enough money to run this little Suzuki, which would do her just fine.

We went for a test drive in a Tesla a week or so back. “Only” the cheapie (!!) 3 model - very nice car. Will look good for taking stuff down to the tip - but i don’t think one can get all the fly tipping stuff inside.

A 2007 1.2 Suzuki Wagon R GL owned by an old couple and in really lovely condition. Drives beautifully, very good bodywork, loads of service history and only 38k miles on the clock. I love these thing, had one before, the Vauxhall Agila badged version. They're a modern equivalent to the old Renault 4 and just as comfortable and useful.

Well I gave it to my daughter. She's well chuffed and realises it does actually meet her needs perfectly and is amazed at how little fuel it uses. I expect she, her partner and her kids will be buzzing about all over the place in it. With one new front tyre it sailed through the MOT, so they're all sorted for a year. No doubt I'll get roped in if any minor jobs need doing on it. Only 38k miles on the clock and it drives like new.

A nice generous gesture. I am sure her family will love it.

The o/s front tyre had inner edge wear, so it was replaced for the MOT and I told her to get the tracking done sometime. There's no record of the gearbox oil having been changed, so I'll do that when the weather bucks up and maybe bung a new mass air flow sensor and lambda sensor on, just for peace of mind.
