Yeah. The F1’s are still scoring higher on the user reviews on Tyrereview though lol.

Anyway, by the time I’m due new tyres at this rate, something completely new will be out no doubt.

I’m making a note of this tyre stuff as there will hopefully be an addition to the Beobloke garage once car sales places can open again. I was supposed to go and see it just after Christmas but then lockdown ruined the plans.

As it’s light, powerful, rear wheel drive and has absolutely no driver aids of any sort, I’m guessing cheap re-moulds would probably be a bad move...

Or you could try a local place that specialises in fasteners. We have Allthread, and William Moores in Preston. Amazed me just how wide ranging their stock was, and not big money either. Most towns will have something similar I would have thought.
Hi Steve, the Ebay sellers I've tried say my 2019 model isn't catered for🤔 I may contact the ones you mention near you, cheers Jim

Lol - I don't really pay much attention to that stuff, as most don't have a scooby what they're talking about and just spout what they think sounds good or might impress someone. That's why I look at the YT vids, carried out by REAL enthusiasts (or experts), and where I can listen properly to what they have to say!

Yes, something else may be out by the time you need new tyres, but for me, I don't think I'll be switching from the PS 4S, or the equivalent from Michelin, as they really suit my car, and are by far and away the best tyres I've ever fitted to the Brabster.

Potentially wasting the best part of a grand on four of something else , which on paper/via word of mouth may be better, but could easily end up worse, is unlikely a risk I'll take. The old adage of why attempt to fix what ain't broken comes to mind...

I can't wait until lockdown's over and I can take the car out for a proper run and test the new tyres properly, and when I do, I'll report back

Lol - do Michelin do a fitment for mobility scooters then?

I wouldn't fit cheap remoulds to ANY car I drove. I've always used the best tyres possible, as for me it's a totally false economy (and potentially fatal error) to skimp on tyres.
