Hmm. I could do with a wealthy girlfriend with her own car to drive me to pubs.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

But I usually prefer to drive
Same here... I don't make a good passenger, simply as I like being the one at the helm, and I don't trust most other people's driving! Plus, I get bored, especially if it's a boring car and/or a boring driver!

I've always said that even if I was a multi-millionaire, I'd still not want a chauffeur, as I *love* driving too much. If I lived in London though, that would be different, as it's no fun driving around there.

Yeah, you sound a bit like my brother, who is the world's worst passenger (driving too fast, driving too slow, for God's sake overtake this wanker, God, are you trying to kill us, Close that gap don't let him in, why are you going the long way, stereo too loud, what's this shite you're playing, heater needs turning up/down, and his favourite: we're here to make progress, not friends. I'd like to see you and him share a car trip, I'd pay good money to see that

Lol... I'd only be like that if I knew the person concerned, and that they could take the banter! If it was a stranger, and their driving bored me and/or I felt that it was of a poor standard, or unsafe, then I'd likely say nothing (unless it was *really* bad), and simply not go in a car with them again.

However, life's too short to a) drive boring cars, and b) be in boring cars, driven by bad and/or boing drivers!

Well, Anita sometimes criticises my driving for being too slow, but she doesn't realise a lot of it is me taking responsibility for her safety. But if she ever saw what I was like on the 'Blade when out on my own, she'd be horrified These things always seem faster/more reckless when you're not the one in control.

I know I'm not particularly talented at riding/driving, and my continued survival is due more to luck than skill. But I'd rather be lucky than skilled anyway - doesn't matter how talented you are, without luck you'll be stuffed sooner or later

Yeah I'd agree with the last bit. As for the first bit, Del generally just sits there and enjoys the ride. Like you've just touched upon however, I drive rather differently in the Brabster (and play music considerably louder, too) when I'm on my own or with mates, than when she's in the car - but she does like going quite fast in cars with (as she calls it) some "oomph"

Having encountered this magnificent beast at the Goodwood FoS last week, is it wrong that I really, really want one?!
