    Well the "smart repair" guy has finally got the Blade's fairing panel done, after just eight weeks. So if I can find time I'll get the bike down to Fastline tomorrow to have it put on, MOT'd, serviced, and new chain. I've left Thursday clear in my diary, so hopefully I'll get a spin on it then. Of course the great British weather may have other plans, but the Pony Express will definitely be ready to go come the next good day Strictly fair weather biker, me

    Wow. I've done over 700 miles in the last 3 weeks. My car tells me that.
    Until recently we were doing about 12000 miles per year in the car we used most.

    gave mine a spin round the rds to keep it charged etc.. going well considering its lack of use last 7 months. been a nice day anyway

    Don't let the battery go down in that one - which I think is a fairly new hybrid IIRC. Probably needs a decent run every couple of weeks.

    just given it another run and filled it up... 19 quid ffs booked in for its 2 year service too.. lady phoned when i was driving lol. they are picking it up and redelivering.
