Enjoy, but I couldn't be arsed with bikes these days. Been there, done that. Might be different in a warmer/drier country, but when travelling around these days I prefer my creature comforts, such as among other things, a roof!

In any case, at your age you should be thinking more about Zimmer frames than motorbikes

Worth checking out. If it's the original CB400F/CB400, they are rather sought after these days. Nice little bike, I had one.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Call yourself a foodie?

That's terrible, but I suppose old age comes to us all eventually. It doesn't have to be this way though - take me with motorbikes - I may one day hang up my helmet, but it'll be my choice, not because it's "age appropriate"

It is one of the early ones, with the four-into-one exhaust, which was unusual standard fitment for bikes at the time.

Milkman's just gone past my house in his little Suzuki Carry (or whatever it's called). Made me wonder - in this age of EVs, what has happened to "milk floats", which were everywhere when I was a kid.

I know what you mean. I've always fancied a bike, but the way people drive round this way makes it untenable. No lane disciple, no indication and no anticipation. The amount of cars I see with the mirrors folded in is unbelievable. Heads in the clouds most of them. A certain death trap for a motorcyclist.

I once drove a couple of hundred yards before I realised my wing mirrors were folded in. It came as a bit of a shock, and have never made that mistake again.
