Mine's nice and clean after its wash. Still got to give it a pre-winter wax though. Interior's been hoovered out too, needs some dash shine yet. I've found my aerosols of waxoil, so I may start on the rust proofing later. Had new tyres all round a couple of moths ago, now seven years old and still only 22k on the clock, it drives like new.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

The Blade is back home now, having had a service, fairing smart-repaired (an absolutely mint job, thanks for the suggestion Jon), new chain and MOT (sailed through). All for £530. Picked it up on a dry and sunny Thursday, it's pissed down since Still got to tax it, but don't know if it's worth bothering now. How much is road tax for bikes these days? Can you pay monthly direct debit? You didn't used to be able to for bikes.

I was a bit apprehensive getting back on, the last time I rode it I fell off. I needn't have worried, it was like I'd never been away. After 2 years of van performance, it was a hoot getting on something that shifts like that

    Great news
Yup, you can pay monthly for tax. Probably worth doing just in case a warm dry day appears and you feel the urge to take her out.
    Get some pics up Steve!
