Jeep Renegade 80th Anniversary.

The Landy's due to be released later this year, but looks cool. She's not in any hurry though, so will be taking her time to consider all suitable options, but she wants some type of 'Jeep', which looks cute, but also has some 'attitude', lol..

Maybe Adam could rate the Landy or otherwise?

Yes mate Lexus. She needs something big enough for three kids, four dogs and can tow a caravan and a horse box. This ticks all the boxes and she loves how it drives. 3 litre V6 so has plenty poke for towing. Plus bombproof Lexus build quality, and it's the top of the range SE-L. Very quiet in the cabin, but it has a nice growl when it's booted.





The Jeep is nice, my ex had one, though bear in mind they are not Jeeps TBH, the Renegade has the same running gear as the Fiat 500X- Fiat now own Jeep Chrysler. Needs a good test drive to see if she likes it- I found it poor for long journeys as the suspension is very bouncy, it was constantly jiggling at speed on the motorway, which got very wearing after a while. Other than that I liked it though, decent equipment as standard.

A lot of Fiat engines etc. in Renegades. Whether that's a good or bad thing these days, I don't know, but I'd sooner that than Renault bits.

Looks funky but make sure you have a good Land Rover independent specialist nearby (avoid the main dealers at all cost) and aren’t afraid of silly electrical faults!

Yeah, I've been following your tales of woe, so will bear in mind the reliability issues.. "Funky", is what we both thought, and like me, Del won't drive anything that isn't a bit individually different/has a bit of 'personality' [anything you see tons of on the road, and are ten-a-penny, is an immediate turn off] - and for her, also a nod to girly-ness
