Even less fun, then...
No engine noise, no gear changes, and pretty soon no-need to actually drive either
Can't wait!
Marco.

Went looking at cars with my girlfriend yesterday, found a lovely RX300 that she fell in love with as soon as she drove it. Pick it up on Saturday.
“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”
Hunter S Thompson
And, it may become usual for electric cars to clock up maybe 500 thousand miles, we're seeing very high mileage hybrid cars already. So I can see manufacturers wanting to do something about 'everlasting' cars, as new sales will suffer otherwise. I think cheapening of major components to limit their durability will happen, along with overpricing and reducing availability of parts over time.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
What a future then, eh mate?
Thank fuck I'll have had my fun by then! But there'll be generations of folk around who simply won't know what that is or what REAL driving and the pleasure of owning something that's different/real and not simply a plastic, soulless disposable consumable, is all about!!

Is that a Lexus, mate?
Del's looking at these:
Land Rover DC10.
Jeep Renegade 80th Anniversary.
The Landy's due to be released later this year, but looks cool. She's not in any hurry though, so will be taking her time to consider all suitable options, but she wants some type of 'Jeep', which looks cute, but also has some 'attitude', lol..
Maybe Adam could rate the Landy or otherwise?
Marco.

A lot of Fiat engines etc. in Renegades. Whether that's a good or bad thing these days, I don't know, but I'd sooner that than Renault bits.

Ah, are you saying that there are Renault bits in Landys?
