I ditched our Kia EV6 order in March and found a very low mileage 2021, Tesla Model 3, and glad I did, from my investigations there are some key issues affecting the build of new cars which will not go away in a hurry, it is also starting to affect repairs.
Microchip shortage(but it depends on manufacturer), Semi-conductors becoming hard to get(rare metal shortages growing), Lithium supply issues(not enough being produced to meet demand), Groupe Renault, Stellantis Group, Mercedes, BMW and VW-Group and others suffering from Wiring Harness and parts issues from Ukraine, previously made in Ukraine, Porsche also temporarily stopped(not sure if back in production), Jaguar/Land Rover new car delivery now over a year, "Hyundai And Kia Backorders Exceed 1 Million Vehicles Due To Parts Shortages", "GM, Tesla, And Industry Suppliers Affected By Latest COVID Lockdown In Shanghai", Stellantis Group is similarly affected through the war in Ukraine, and the list goes on.

he's ordered a Polstar 2 motor afaik Adrian. there is a pic of it a few pages back. looks great.
..just had my ev out for a jaunt. weather was a bit blowy and wet but it still returned over 5.6mi/kwh. not to be sneezed at. never went much over 60, as its more frugal at such speeds and i wasnt in a hurry.

yes if i want to and weather is good etc, and its not fast motorway driving etc, i ve had over 6/kwh. i dont really go long distances but it would be similar if using same roads. my average in last month is about 5.3/kwh.5.6/kWh! If that’s right it f…n’ amazing, what do you like best about the electric? Thanks, I love the Tesla
