It's rock music for people who don't like rock music. I think Meatloaf himself has been commendably mental in his time, but Jim "Total Eclipse of the Heart" Steinman threw everything but the kitchen sink at the production. More is less.

Happy to report a Meatloaf-shaped hole in my music collection.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL Storm sub

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

Don't want to hear them, but I don't mind watching Little Mix (or Big Knicks as I prefer to call them). They do wear rather large knickers, and they don't care who sees them.

Van is OK by me, but you only need one of his albums as they are basically all the same.

Has no one mentioned Whitney Houston yet? Dreadful over-emoted rubbish.

Bat out of Hell is a classic rock album and deserves to be in any collection, but Meat's other albums? Nope, poor, very much a one hit wonder.

I don't own any Stones or Beatles
