I predict that this season will be Wenger's last at Arsenal, and will follow Alex Ferguson out the door next year when the season ends. He's been at Arsenal WAY too long already! The club needs some fresh young blood.

I think that the biggest improved team this year, in the top half of the table, will be Liverpool. They've always been my second team (after Celtic) and I'd love them to slowly return to their glory days!

    Marco.
Interesting that you think a 4th spot is attainable for liverpool.I almost put them there, but have been a bit more realistic! Alot depends on who we bring in and if suarez stays (highly unlikely).

I've been impressed with what Brendan has done so far, especially after a dodgy start to last season.Actually looking forward to next season, which is something i've not done for a few years

Yup, totally agree on all points, especially the Suarez situation. However, I think that Brendan has the midas touch and my gut feeling says that he'll take Liverpool into 4th position. It's time the 'pool slowly got back to where they belong, Darren!

I have very fond memories of Liverpool, from the 70s and 80s, dominating football all over Europe....

I think a few more decent buys like Sturridge and Coutinho and winning a few more games against the 'big' teams and we will be alot closer this season to getting a 4th spot.We just need consistency which has been lacking for years for one reason or another. At times we played teams completly off the pitch, then at other times you are just shaking your head the whole game

Anyway,Italy vs Japan is on,so i'm off to watch that.

    1st Man United
    2nd Chelsea
    3rd Man City
    4th Tottenham
    5th Liverpool

I don't think United will find as easy as last season, but i still put them as favourites to retain the title. Certainly going to be more interesting this season.

Talking of decent buys, I think Kolo Touré will prove to be a good one for Liverpool.
He barely put a foot wrong for us last season on the occasions when he actually made the starting lineup.
I have been very impressed by the solidity of his performances, and he's going to prove himself capable of doing the business.
I just hope that he doesn't come back to hurt us (City, that is)

A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

I got a few friends who are Arsenal fans Most would like to see Wenger move upwards, but as a outsider I think the club are only a few players short of challenging. The defence was the best last season something I was surprised about so I think its about scoring more goals so improving attack and midfield
I do believe Liverpool has a good manager it will just depend how well they do in the market
I always thought City would find hard last year but see them being more fresh. City always look good when they are more attacking so think they stand a real chance
Jose will make Chelsea a lot stronger they probably lose some of that flair but will be more consistent
Utd will be as strong as always but its going to be a difficult job replacing Ferguson
Spurs will challenge for 4th place
Loves anything from Pain of Salvation to Jeff Buckley to Django to Sarasate to Surinder Sandhu to Shawn Lane to Nick Drake to Rush to Beth Hart to Kate Bush to Rodrigo Y Gabriela to The Hellecasters to Dark Sanctury to Ben Harper to Karicus to Dream Theater to Zero Hour to Al DiMeola to Larry Carlton to Derek Trucks to Govt Mule to?

    Default suarez

as a liverpool fan , i feel suarez has let the club down big time.
i wish the club had the balls to make him sit out the last 3 years of his contract on the bench.
possibly one of the worlds most talented players, but to use a "talksport" phrase, his "heads gone".
how can he blame the uk press for HIM being a T.at?
    he is beyond belief.
    best of luck Arsene
