Dogs aren't allowed in the bed, only on it!

Cats were allowed into the bed though, but not had one since my beautiful 'Boy' died years ago.

By the Ironbridge is the golf course, no dog walking there. I tend to walk the pooch round the back of Osterley Park or on Norwood Green. Sometimes I go to Pitshanger Park over in Ealing.

Bruce usually starts the night off at the end of my bed, he's a bit of a lump and has no spacial awareness so I generally fall asleep with about a 6 inch strip of the bed to myself. He also snores quite badly but you know what I wouldn't have it any other way.

Last pic day out in Portsmouth while van was getting tail lift fixed. Strangely Portsmouth council doesn't allow dogs in its parks, not the city centre ones anyway.

    Default Spotty and Ben

Our girls are so spoiled , they are so playful and loving. Spot has had 2 surgeries and has survived breast cancer.
They are up there in years for ratty's but still like to play, they just tire easy now and sleep more.
The big bottle Ben is sitting on is huge over a liter , it is really for Ginny pigs. She still sits on it a lot ,it is her alone space.
They both still like to sit on my shoulders and watch T.V. If I am eating popcorn they will lick my cheek and sniff till I give them some.
If we leave the cage door open at night they will get out go across Conners dresser to the window sill jump down to his head board and climb down to his pillow and sleep next to him.
They are really cool little gals.
Rats are clean , they clean them selves but ours still get weekly baths. If the cage is cleaned as it should be there is no oder and ours are litter box trained .
Sad they don't live very long , 1 year for us is 30 years to a rat so 2 to 3 years is a long life for them. Even a rat can show it's love for someone shows it a little love.
I took care of a wounded wild Brown rat for a couple months and before it left would come take food from my hand.

    Lovely dog!

on a separate note, what's the point of a park that does not allow dogs in it??

They look very cute and very happy, content little souls. Rats make great pets, very intelligent and bright. I saw an article about how rats enjoy playing with us and actually laugh when you tickle them. It's a shame the perception is of grubby, smelly creatures, as you say they are clean and like to live in a clean environment. I'd love to have some but I think Mia the cat might have other ideas.
