Yes, could be female. I've never put a collar on a cat. I worry about them getting it caught up in something. And it can chafe around the neck. Plus it ruins their 'look' as well

I always have put a flee collar on, they usually have an elasticated bit so that they can escape!

I don't mind the look of a collar, usually get red or blue. When Tiddles died, I took it off to keep it. Neighbours around when she was buried in the garden, Moet afterwards. Think I've said this before.

The vet told me flea collars are rubbish - these days you get some little ampule that you push into the back of the neck. Doesn't hurt the cat although I used to do it when he was eating and distracted so not to upset him.

Well used flee collars for decades, never had flees, the cat neither!

Also show people that the cat probably belongs to someone, and they are often reflective, can help.

I tried to look at it from the cat's point of view and concluded that he would prefer not to wear a collar. But then I am off my rocker.

My neighbour and friend won't put a collar on his cat, so you are not alone in this.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

When she doesn't appear, I'm feeding the birds!

Just saw her, put some food on the shed roof, she ran away, probably be a back soon.
