One of the biggest marketing clangers ever regarding naming a car is attributed to Toyota.
This was back in the day when they decided to name all their models beginning with the letter "C" as in Corolla and Celica.
They had designed a car for the Australian market and they decided to market research one name in particular, so out they went and asked the Australian public this question:
"Is Cecil a nice name for a man?" to which the majority of the answers were "Yes".
So . . . . . . . . . .
They launched a new shiny new model with the name "Cecil".
I think they sold 3 cars in total - or rather they gave them to the management of Toyota

As I have said before , YES I enjoy going to boot sales and HAVE had some very good bargains , I am more than happy with my haul
LP's , yes some pishanto but more importantly some gems as well , being a 70 / 80 boy that's the type of music I like
Also I would add in buying bulk from boot sales " LP's " I have widened my listening experience , music I have not listened to I now have , AT VERY LITTLE COST 50p each to £1
My recent haul from 2 doors up the road has included 2 Doors LP's at £1 each , If I recall Marco recently spent £170 on a boxed set re release , Mine are originals
I have pishantoed a Audio Innovations valve amp for £20
Several 70's tuner amps Yamaha and Sony for £10 each , Amassed a collection of cassette decks from £5 each , obtained over 100 8 track cartridges
Its NOT allways about the sound quality , I also enjoy the HISTORY of music , back in the day the 8 track was a revolution and everyone had one , then on too audio cassettes the next revolution , so for me the pishanto is also a voyage through audio history
Lastly when out at the boot sale , its also a form of exercise for us " Getting oldies "
