Can't remember what the last DVD I bought was but I have kept all the Criterion Edition ones I had along with a fancy perspex boxed Schindler's List and Metal boxed Terminator T2 one.
Never bought any Blu-rays.

I do have what was a half decent bluray player, it's filling a space on the a/v shelf and looking like it means business, but it's not even plugged in, not been used for at least 5 years. I'm too tight to buy discs for it - I only had half a dozen or so, and I gave them to Grant. Maybe one day I'll press it back into service if I ever get a set up that's good enough.
