So, come on then, who's ever seen a pair of the fabled STL4s?

From what I've seen on those spec badges the ram 150 and 200 monitors are both rated 75w. Does anyone know what is the difference between the two?
I'm interested as I'm looking for a pair of Bextrene drivers for my B&W DM2'S. I know Ram 150's 8 inch Dalesford Fenoba II drivers would be a match I was wondering whether it's the same for the 200's.

the 200 has a bigger magnet on the bass driver even though both are 8 inch units. https://vjenning1.wixsite.com/ramloudspeakers/classes

ram stuff was supposedly well thought of in the day, although i dont know if that was justified. Falcon i think made all the boards for them.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

I think they are pretty good in the context of speakers of that era. I'd rather have a RAM200 then the DM2 although I like the DM2.

They got a licence to produce the LS3/5a from the BBC which involved very tight specifications so they must have been good when needed.

RAM never took off in the UK, hence their early demise.
