Audio Cable Weak Link

Hi,

I'm about to buy this 5 meter 3.5mm audio extension cable off eBay so that I can listen to my headphones on my bed, a few meters away from my computer. The question is, is this cable going to cause any degradation to the sound quality, or is a cable (of this type, as opposed to optical, coax, etc) just a cable, and any old one will do. I'm going straight out of my DAC to my Bose AE1 headphones, but they only have about 75cm worth of cable on them. The headphones cable looks pretty much the same quality as the eBay one. Will I be doing any harm to my sound?
