No, don't do that Mike. I have a Missing Link silver double, too. I seem to remember mine feeds the earth input pretty equally to both sides but would need to remove the plate from the wall to verify. I still use the l/h socket for feeding the P10. Don't be playing with additional connecting earth wires as you may risk causing a 'situation' that you don't want
