Things get tricky when people inevitably ask about parts, but I quite understand why you'd want to keep a lid on it. It is after all a commercial venture. It must be difficult to guard against some bugger taking one apart and spraying photos all over the net.

Well I'm going to give one a listen...
If it works or me it will mean I can take quite a few boxes out of my rack!
Always a bonus, especially if it sounds good

Both Gaz and David have been very helpful in specifying the thing so far too ... Cheers chaps!

Interesting and no fan, passive cooling so silent.

For me I would want something like this but no blu ray functionality and with esata connectivity as well as USB3, spdif out and windows 7 (no 8 in this house). Native DSD I assume is an interesting addition.

There is another UK company building something similar but if I recall right with nowhere near the functionality at the MCRU price. Theirs is a passive cooled design too, identical case to the MCRU one - though it might be slightly less tall. Can't recall the name of the company though.

That's a nice case, there's a version of that with no drive slot I've planned for the next version of my own music source.
Though Streamcom do a half width one ( same as yours Tim?) that might fit in better looks wise with my Rega kit.
