My friend has bought a Pink Triangle LPT turntable, and it also has the GTI PSU inside.
Is the LPT still a good sounding turntable for it's price today?

I'd rather have an LPT than a Linn.
With the GTI PSU, it should be a little belter. Excuse the pun.

I take it your talking about the Linn Axis.
The LPT was a fine little deck and if low bass colouration is of prime importance, I really would say that it's better than an LP12 *of the period!* in bass accuracy. HOWEVER, the sound could be a bit bright and relentless in a system that was set up around the LP12 back then and the pink lid was glued together as I recall.
If this LPT is still working and the belt hasn't fatigued with the passing decades, I'd put it up there with the better Regas I think.

Did the Pink LPT also come with the ''pig'' clamp?
Only the Revolver. The Pinks never really needed clamps as I remember.

Brilliant turntable IMHO, i had the same with that supply fitted, the multicoloured speed indicator through the acrylic knob was a well sexy touch. I prefered the grey top to the black acrylic tho..

Does arms like the RB250 work very well with the Pink LPT?
