Just sheer laziness really, likely not helped by navigating the site using a phone.... That's why I always crop the pics, and just leave the text I wish to quote, rather than posting the whole lot!

Pet hates .............. when people 'quote' the whole of a long post full of large photos, which has only just been posted, often just to make a short 1 line comment. So I have to scroll through the whole thing again just to get to their brief pearl of wisdom.

For some obscure psychological reason this drives me absolutely batty.

What, that you can edit a quoted post? Surely that would only apply to those who haven't posted much before on forums, otherwise the process should be well-practiced and known.

Is it me or are people just becoming nasty.

So this morning I went to Tesco to get some milk and a bun for me and the builder doing a garden wall, at one time I would have built it but I'm not up to it now.

Anyway I was following this car into the car park and on the left where a long line of empty parking paces and the chap in front indicates left and pulls across the line of spaces and slows down. I carry straight on passing him and about another 20 yards indicate left and start to manouvore reversing into a space immediately next to a pedestrian walk way and zebra crossing, in the same line of spaces already mentioned. Guess what as I am backing into the space the same chap blocks the space having driven over the pedestrian walkway and pulled into the space, I hit my brakes and the horn, then pull forward and reverse into two spaces further down.

Before I get out the car I have decided to say nothing, as I get out this chap walks up to me and says "Sorry about that I thought I was doing you a favour", what? So I just say "Well that wasn't a very sensible manoeuvre." and go to walk away. As I do the chap start shouting abuse at me and swearing, so I stop and walk up to him and say sorry I did not mean to offend you, and offer my hand to shake , with he does, he then carries on to shout and being even more rude, at which point I tell him to just calm down, turned around and walked away to the store, he continued to hurl more abuse and swearing. During the 40 second or so altercation his wife just stood there and watched, and what really surprised me was that this nasty man was at least in his late 60's and certainly should have known better.

I returned to my car 5 minutes later and what was interesting was the nasty man had moved his car presumably either because he thought I might damage it if I was angry or possibly call the police and be waiting for him. I did carefully inspect my car to make sure he had not touched before I drove off and luckily it was OK.

I just hate angry, nasty aggressive people who enjoy trying to upset and assert themselves on others.

Well I didn't say, because I don't like to judge a book by its cover, he was quite short, was wearing track suit bottoms, trainers, a leather jacket and a large gold chain around his neck, and didn't sound local.
