Not sure what you mean by "fashion accessory", but anything goes in Brighton

We have quite a few bins in our village, so I tend to have planned routes which have a bin at some point. What really winds me up is the buggers who bag the poo then hang it from a bush or tree I'd rather that they just left the unbagged poo on the footpath, at least it would rot down.

Therefore, if you've got cats and don't want them to defecate in neighbours gardens, the answer is either to bring them up from young kittens simply to be 'house pets', so from day one they know nothing else but life indoors, as indeed is the case for those who live in high-storey flats, or provide them with a garden to use, plus also litter trays indoors, when the weather is bad, and which are kept scrupulously clean, as cats are very clean animals.

Don't just kick them out at night or in all weathers and worry not what they get up to - TAKE PROPER RESPONSIBILITY and get them used to a routine. During the summer our cats are allowed out until 7pm, and in the winter 4pm, and we don't let them out at night.

They know when it's time to come in, and so when they're called, they come in. And they're perfectly happy with that arrangement, as that's what they've always been used to, and indeed at night sleep with us! That's been the case with all the cats we've ever had - we treat them not just as pets, but as members of the family

And if you're unwilling or unable to take such proper responsibility for the animals you own, cats or otherwise, then don't have pets in the first place, simples!!

Nice that you have cats that will only dump in your litter tray or garden, but don't kid yourself that this has anything to do with your being a responsible pet owner - cats by their nature are independent, not pack animals like dogs, so have no desire to please their pack leader. They will do as they please, and if this aligns with what you want from them, great.

Our cat has a litter tray, which is always clean as she never uses it. In the morning she gets her breakfast first thing, but doesn't touch it till she's gone outside for a couple of minutes. When I care to look I always notice her doing her thing in our borders. At 8.30 evening she gets some dreamies in her mouse, and that always brings her to me. Then that's her in for the night. But she will escape after this time given half a chance, so windows and doors are closed.

One thing we don't do is treat her as a member of the family. She doesn't sit at the table with us, we don't take her shopping, we don't dress her, and we don't have her put the bins out And we don't nag her about cleaning her room Because she's a pet

Indeed, but as a responsible and caring owner, you train them and get them used to a routine from day one, then hope for the best!

*BUT* at least you've tried and done what you can, unlike the lazy, irresponsible fucks, who don't deserve to have pets in the first place, and who just kick their cats outside 24/7 and let them roam feral around the neighbourhood, pissing and shitting everywhere, and goodness knows what else!

    That is the point, muchacho.

Lol - well, what I meant by that is, as we don't have kids, they're our 'wee babies', and so we spoil them rotten (Del's besotted with her cats, as she's always been cat mad, as girlies tend to be), and fuss over them accordingly.

You know how you get some folk who just get a cat, feed and water it, and I guess look after it to an extent, but don't really bother with it that much, as it's 'just a cat'? Then you get others, like us (and perhaps you) who dote on them?

If either of us go out for any length of time, they *really* miss us (especially me as I'm usually in the house all day keeping them company), and when we come home, they're all over us (like dogs do), meowing, jumping up on us/licking us, etc. So what I'm getting at is we're very 'close' to them, and they mean the world to us, just like if they were our kids.

Therefore, when the cats are in the house, they're either all in the lounge with us sleeping in their dedicated furry cat baskets, or chairs, in front of the fire, yes eating with us to an extent, not when we're at the table, but if I'm having a 'TV dinner', and sitting with my meal on a tray, as sometimes happens, and it's something the cats like, such as chicken, then I'm surrounded by all three of them, wanting some, so as we've got tiled floors, I chuck them a few titbits, which they eat up, and I wipe up after then later, which as there's no carpet is easy

Emrys, the long-haired ginger tom spends most of the evening snuggled up to Del, so she cuddles him on the sofa, like a teddy bear (as he's so soft and fluffy), and they're both in heaven! Our cats, unlike most, aren't really 'aloof'; they enjoy our company almost as much as dogs. They also go for regular check ups to the vets and for their flu jabs. And the male kittens we get are neutered as soon as they're old enough. But they're very rarely ill, and typically the rescue cats (we always get the youngest kittens), from the local Cat Protection League, live until into their 20s.

We buy them the best cat food (the stuff they like most) both wet (Felix Doubly Delicious) and dry, as they love their Hills Oral Care biscuits, from Pets at Home, and their Whiskas cat milk! We spend around £100 every 6 weeks on cat food. They're also fortunate to have a large garden to roam around in, which when the weather's good they're out in all day.

Then when it's bed time, two of them sleep with us on our bed, and the other in her cat basket beside the bed, but when it's cold she'll often come up and join the others for a warm, and sometimes we can't move for cats, but it's worth it, as they're our 'wee babies'!

Anyway, you get the picture? Not 'just pets', but truly members of the family. And because they're so spoiled and happy [want for nothing], that's generally why they're so obedient

This is definitely FFS! - how can anyone with 98.9% with over 1000 seller ratings on Discogs send an LP like this?

All corners bent and the cardboard is so thin the whole thing is strengthened with tape so that it's impossible to open it (if I should ever want to!) without putting a knife through the contents.

    Awaiting seller response.

A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Because only 1.1% of their sales got as badly treated in the post as yours?

Surely that why it should be suitably packaged for roughhouse eventualities. This isn't even a padded envelope - just 2 flimsy pieces of cardboard taped together. It's like the seller just gave up on doing a proper job!

Totally agree I'm just saying all those that left positive feedback probably didn't care about the risk if their packages were fortunate enough to arrive safely.

Can you see comments on the negative feedback, did they have the same issue?
