You can still get those still fruit drinks in the plastic cups, where you push the straw through the top. The offy by me sells them. You'd jam the straw through, take deep draught and then start coughing. God knows what is in them but I'm surprised it is still legal.
I think you can still buy those sweet cigarettes, although they won't be called that anymore. And to avoid confusion they've probably done away with the 'red end' too. FFS, what the world coming too? There was a time when you could buy a 'smoking baby' doll, good harmless fun...

It's about not teaching kids that smoking is cool or the norm

To be honest - they were all a bit shit really. The only reason we bought sweet cigarettes when we were kids was because you could play pretend grown-ups (without all the wheezing and gut wrenching phlegm coughs)

As sweet treats, they were bland saccharine pulp that was actually heavily over-priced and a recipe for early caries .... they might as well have sold 'pretend working down a mine' kits with genuine silicosis symptoms and an early death guaranteed with every pack.

Yes they were bland highly processed sticks that appealed to kids for childish reasons. The crap I used to eat as a kid its a wonder I havent developed some sort of diabetes related condition.

I used to pile that bubble gum into my mouth that came with the stickers. Even I started chucking that away as I was buying so many novelty stickers.

Ive got a stick of it now thats 43 years old and it still looks about the same. Obviously I wouldnt eat it but its quite worrying that the stuff remains intact for that long

Anyone else notice Amazon actually seem to be delaying deliveries when you use the free delivery over £20 option? More often then not you'd get the item ordered within a day or two but these days it can be up to a week & the latest delivery estimate for an order I placed on Saturday is 1st September! I reckon it's a ploy to get you to try prime.

Didn't some Yank say there's no such thing as a free delivery?
