Tony, I'm betting (if you're not already familiar) that you would love this "custard pie" they sell in France. It's a sort of thick flan and the "custard" looks like a blow torch has been used on the top, and the custard is so stiff you can pick it up without it falling apart.I like custard of any kind, I don’t mind making it or buying it, I’m a ‘Custard Tart’.
