    Many companies seem to be like that. Completely unready for the import tax changes, despite the majority of the details being available now for several years. Last minute changes are easy to implement if one is ready on the whole.

    Yeah, that's what happens with extremes! Either one way or the other is always bad and never a proper solution. I'm a 'happy mediums/best of both worlds' kinda guy, so generally find happiness somewhere in the middle ground.

    Problem is now, it's gone the other way (arguably as bad as it was with overly militant unions during the 70s), with management having WAY too much power over their workforce, often with little recourse for their employees to legally challenge it, thus in many cases imposing ridiculous demands on their workers, whilst paying them tuppence, coupled with a mamby-pamby workforce who don't have the balls to stick up for themselves, or in many cases are too scared to speak up for fear or losing their jobs, as there's always some other 'sheep' only too willing to take their place...

    It's the perfect storm for creating fascist dictatorships
