If I understand English Law correctly it is up to the defendant to prove his statements are true (or privileged or opinion etc) rather than the plaintiff having to prove they were false.

My view would be for the buyer to tell it as he or she has experienced it, and then allow the seller to defend himself or herself accordingly.
As long as no libellous comments are made (or nasty slagging off of anyone), and the facts are stuck to, then there should be no issues. This section of the forum isn’t simply for patting folk on the back; it’s also there, if necessary, to allow criticism of someone’s products or services.
However, I would also add that protracted debates (endless arguments) on the matter, regarding ‘who’s at fault’, will not be allowed. If that happens, it will be stopped, and the parties involved told to take their dispute to PM.
