Many thanks to Tom (montesquieu) for the sale of his Ikeda 9C III cartridge. I've been wanting to listen to one of these (a fascinating combination of an MC cartridge with a Decca-like lack of a cantilever) for a long time now. It could well be the final cartridge in my system.

Superbly well packed and promptly delivered, it arrived today.

    Again many thanks

Did you play this cartridge Tom when we came over recently?

I know I was stunned by the mono cartridge you played but beyond that I was not keeping up.

No it was safely packed away for Barry when you came over. Though Adam did hear it earlier as did Petrat.
