If we're talking Swedish, then how about The Cardigans? 2003's Long Gone Before Daylight whilst nowhere near as poppy as their earlier stuff is a great recording IMHO.

Yes Alex the Cardigans are great. Gran Turismo is an amazing production. For some reason i've been listening to a lot of swedish stuff lately, lots of real quality comes from there. Must be the long dark nights with nothing to do but make music!
It's an epic album and I may well have already recommended it further up the thread. If I didn't, then +1.
