    Ah an infra red effect. I do this a lot in black and white using film.

    Did you use an R72 filter to record actual infra red or is it just an effect...?

    My guess is a digital photo from a modified Nikon d70

    Bingo Hamish. I think we may have covered this ground once before. The IR converted D70 is a wonderous thing.

    All you need is a simple filter cut to size and twenty minutes of unscrewing things (and praying you don't get electrocuted) and then - bob's you're uncle Infrared photography at normal shutter speeds and no 'so dark you can't see the subject' filters.

    There's other CS6 jiggery pokery going on too of course: channel swapping, levels, selective focus, and textures to give it the really grungy look.
