DAC Tour

Hi All,
I'm thinking of setting up a tour of my devices around forum members. The DACs are USB input only & will work with PC or Mac, no Linux/Unix. They all operate from an internal battery & can handle 24/192 datastreams natively, no upsampling.

They use a modified Hiface running on battery as the USB receiver. The JKDAC uses an ESS Sabre DAC chip & is capable of also directly driving most headphones (AKG 701s are out, I'm afraid). The JKDAC32 uses a 32bit BB/TI DAC chip which incorporates a minimum phase filter & is capable of 32/192 operation.

I was also thinking of including a USB to SPDIF output device which can feed SPDIF into any DAC. Again this uses a modified Hiface & internal battery power.

Just to add some detail about the logistics of this tour - I will post, by registered post, to the first on the list & would expect that it is posted onwards by them (via registered post) to the next person on the list. BTW, two AOS members, Clive & Vic, auditioned these DACs against some other well respected DACs a while back & they both bought a DAC32 from me Clive's review appeared in an article in EnjoytheMusic in April.
