Have been talking to Jason who has completed the installs on the new SSD for the TFS. I'd bought powerdvd ultra 12, so I gave him the key to reinstall it. He could not get it to play the Star Wars BD correctly, so has given me a full version of powerdvd ultra 11, which strangely plays them perfectly. Anyhow, all sorted now, thanks for the advice chaps. Hopefully the SSD will arrive tomorrow so I can fit it in time for Saturday.

Nearly sorted out then Ali, hope it all pans out to schedule, curry etc included...

Re Star Wars issues - The media industry have a lot to answer for screwing around with security etc.. I often wonder if they are actually doing more damage to BD equipment and media sales than if they stuck to a fixed format.
Pretty sure that the Pirates look upon such things as a minor inconvenience, but for some households software/firmware updates may be impractical or inconvenient, and deter purchase to nobody's advantage.

    Cheers, me too.

Yes, they have a lot to answer for. If I've paid for the discs, I expect to be able to bloody well play them!
