I doubt it... It mixes both left & right & passes on the bass to the amp, the same as the 8033s would. It has to mix & output a mono channel after all.

The thing is you need to use one that accepts both channels, no point in just connecting one after all

So the 8033s would do the job & then feed mono bass to your sub. The sub only mixes & adds the two together the same as the 8033s would. But if you didn't use the 8033s to mix them both you'd need two 8033c & then feed each to the sub

Costs more, is more complex & damn stupid if you ask me

    Hope that helps
    Bests, Mark

Martin, I'll send you a PM tomorrow explaining things a bit clearer. But to do the best job for the cheapest money it's the 8033s you'll need

Don't rush into it though... You see the 8033 series get rid of room modes up to about 144Hz. The lower the frequency that you are feeding your sub, the less effect it'll have, as the left & right speakers will not get any room correction - only the sub.

There is a bit to it & you really ought to grasp it before going there I'll fill you in as best as I can

Yes when I initially listened before connecting up the DualCore the bass boom was very obvious!

No kidding, the 35Hz peak (approximately) would be immediately noticeable & result in a good deal of one note bass The 23Hz peak (again approximately) due to it's narrower nature wouldn't be so obtrusive, but still a pain with music that goes low enough.

These things are superb, I'll never run any main system without them again & I'm in no way messing about
