    Of course, it's not the original company (I believe now having been bought by JJ), who aren't particularly renowned for producing the best tubes, but what's interesting this time is that all valves for sale have been properly tested and measured (with readings marked on boxes), which you'll see with the likes of this KT88:

    Could be an interesting option for anyone after reliable examples of the most common varieties of modern production valves... Anthony, were you aware of this, mate?

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Also quite expensive! I think I'll wait until we hear a few reviews. I'll stick with my Genelex gold lions for the moment. Although I'm mighty interested.

    Indeed, so some research is needed into whether there's any justification for that in terms of how they're constructed or anything else, other than simply having been measured and tested.

    The sceptic in me thinks they are cashing in on the Telefunken name. I would certainly await for some feedback from users.

    Are they exact copies of the Telefunken build, or simply JJ equivalents that have been measured and labelled 'Telefunken'?


    I have no horse in this race as I do not use a valve power amplifier (however I do have a Radford STA15 III, which has Telefunken and Siemens NOS small signal valves and NOS Mullard 'Blackburn Road' EL34s as well as a Mullard GZ34).

    Yes a lot of money for JJs, and the construction doesnt look as good as quality NOS.

    Had a few JJ 300b’s and they have been excellent, rugged and long lasting.
