Have you seen Johnny boy lately? How's the barn doing these days?

Hi Neil - I'm not actually using my kit, but it's a Naim/Stealth/Brik system.

Marco - every forum is a world away from the Mana dictators deceased forum

Not seen John, and quite happy for it to remain that way tbh - Barn is great, but I seem to spend most of my time out in the fields or workshop these days - are you still living in the same place?

Yep, still in the same place, Barnie. Glad the barn is doing well. We must meet up for a few beers sometime - it's been discussed many times before but has never happened

So why's your system not getting used - you grown out of the scene a bit now? Btw, I'm selling a pair of EA1 monoblocks if you know of anyone who'd be interested.

To be honest, I miss certain things about the Mana forum - it had its good points and we had a few laughs there before things went sour. I'd like to get some more of the old crew signed up here. John and I still send each other Christmas cards but we haven't seen each other for ages.

I believe Blzebub is still on your Christmas card list, or maybe it was your black book?

Marco you’re always welcome here if you're ever passing

I guess I did grow out of the hi fi scene, couldn’t bring myself to sell my kit though, so I boxed it all up 3 years ago to see if I could live without it, still boxed up – you may remember my other hobby was rare breed poultry and poultry colour genetics, well that took over and ended up expanding into a full blown business so I put 10 acres over to poultry, which now takes all my time – find it more relaxing/rewarding than hi fi ever was, so I take my tunes via an iPod or PC mostly.

The Mana forum had more downs than it did ups, so can’t say I miss it, although some of the old crew were decent folk I have fond memories of – JW isn’t on my Xmas card list, which is a waste of 20 odd years but a valuable lesson in letting go of the past, who’s Blzebub?

I’ve got a whole load of kit someone else would cherish and enjoy…..

LP12/Ittok/Ortofon MC10 supreme/Armageddon, CDS1/CDPS (new transport fitted at Naim, only 40hrs use since), modded 52/Supercap, MA2 Stealth power amp (only one ever made), nearly mint Isobarik PMS with new passive crossovers, in Walnut with original intact grilles, 19 Mana soundstages, Reference table, 5 tier custom amp rack (Naim spacing), 2 tier amp rack, pair of cut down Brik stands, all with original boxes, cabling, remotes.

Would like to know what sort of interest there is in above kit, and possible prices….

Yep, sounds like my cup of tea. Barnie, pop each item separately in the Private Exhibitions section and ask for offers. You never know.
