I like avocados with almost anything. Mayonaisse, Vinagrette.

I picked up the last of the windfall eating apples today. Mostly in good shape. What to do?

Apple Sauce:

12 small apples chopped around the core.
1/4 cup of sugar.
Half a cup of water.
Half teaspoon of cinnamon.

Boil for 20-30 minutes on lowish heat with the lid on.

Left the skins on, because the goodness is in the skin. Leave to cool and mash.

Turned out well! I surprise myself. Bit runny but OK. Soft skins didn't bother me. Nice with yoghurt. Yum.
