Ah, they aren't available anymore but I do have a stereo amp built with a pair of them lying round the house. In a rather prosaic chassis though.
Kuzma Stabi/S 12", (LP12-bastard) DC motor and optical tacho psu, Benz LP, Paradise (phonostage). MB-Pro, Brooklyn dac and psu, Bruno Putzeys balanced pre, mod86p dual mono amps, Yamaha NS1000m

The measurements are very impressive. I was just having a look over the website.

    Looks like you've picked well.

Yeh I'm pleased with them. I've used the amps for the past two years, but just one board per side and fed by a single PSU board, now I've doubled up on PSU boards and amp boards. Here's the breakdown.

4x Mod86p boards, as bridged mono channels £400
    2x PSU boards £80
    2x Toroidy 24v 400VA transformers £130
    2x chassis £360
    2x soft start boards £70
Sockets, wires and mounting hardware £90

Not bad for £1000 and 100 hours build time.

They might even be Kegworth worty next time round.

    Fair play,

I now know how much effort and time goes into this kind of thing and believe me, I'm way off attempting anything on this scale.

£1000? Wow, that's a lot of amplification for the money.

Doesn't sound any different in a case but it sure looks better.

I wonder what project I can waste the next few years on?
    Nicely done, look impressive.
