When people wrote their old posts they would have used the :D shortcut, which can only ever be associated with one image at any one time.
Without going back and editing every historical post to assign a different shortcut, there's no way of maintaining the old picture in old posts.
I've made the change so :D gives a Big Grin icon. We already have an icon allocated to the :rofl: shortcut.
I will reassign the old 'person rolling on the ground' to a new shortcut - :rfl:
As I said, all historical posts will now show the green grin rather than man on floor laughing
