Picked up a lovely set of JBL L50's from Philv of this parish. Just been sat in front of them for the last hour or so. Very very similar to my L40's but possibly with a bit more sparkle in the top end. Anyway very pleased with them indeed.

Yes I've become a bit of a JBL fanboy lol. Very pleased with them & they look good with the covers on tooI've got two biggies (27 inches tall) between my speakers.
I love the JBLs, too - I used to have L110.

In a remarkable turn of events I appear to have found myself as temporary custodian of pair of yamaha NS1000's.
Once again I'm in debt to the amazing generosity of Geoff (Oldius of this parish) for the loan of them.
Suffice to say that I will be spending quite a bit of time getting to know then over the next days & weeks.
