Concur D, very much so. I've yet to hear her earlier album though, apparently very good also.

    Default Hi Guys

    Hi Filterlab

IMHO I don't think her first album is as good (Ruby Blue). Its a very much more laid back and retrospective in feel. Has some very good songs but overal I felt disapointed in it, say compared to the last Moloko album Statues.

Hi Ali tate. Yes Beyond Skin has very good bass but as a whole the album is one of the most seamless blends of Dance, Electronica, World Music and Jazz I have ever heard and is Nitins finest album. Any one know of anything out there similar?

    Other Asian artists include
L Subramaniam Global Fusion A mixture of Asian music Jazz Flemenco and some Japanese music
V M Bhatt Has recorded with a number of famous artists the best place to start is A Meeting By The River great acoustic music by two great musicians
Karsh Kale The most similar to Nitin try Liberation
Prasanna Peaceful I know idea how he does what he does on guitar just awesome techinque
But the the place I start of is with Surinder Sandhu his compensational skills are top notch; check out either Sanrang Orchestra or Cylcles and Stories

Some great recommendations here - love the Nickel Creek and the Nigtmares on Wax. Am going to get the Roisin Murphy as well

In answer to the question is it the music, or the recording .... BOTH!

Many thanks for all the input - keep it coming

I am lovin the tunes ...
