    In the second image it looks like a pair of TVCs but the first image would suggest that whatever it is will have separate power supplies. Will it be a dual mono pre-amplifier?

    It will be dual mono, but not a pre-amplifier. To give you a clue, the C-core transformers are about the size of your head (well, if you have a small head).
